***2022 UPDATE***
With April’s dawn (Parkinson's Awareness Month), the highs and lows of NJ basketball have been stricken from the headlines, baseball’s opening promises entertainment for some, albeit probably fewer people than in years not tainted by holdout threats. Yet, one sporting activity continues to draw more participants and observers year in and out: golf!
I can attest to the heightened anticipation of the golf season primarily due to the number of inquiries I have received regarding possible dates for a Kobers for the Cure 2022 Tee Off For Parkinson’s outing. The enthusiasm attached to our events is truly heartwarming - knowing that your enjoyment matched your generosity. In years past I have called upon you at this time to invite you to join us for golf, camaraderie and your endless generosity extended to MJFF to aid our quest to combat Parkinson’s disease.
This year, however, we will not be seeking your golf participation or hole sponsorships - various ailments (additive to PD), injuries and other factors, not the least of which is the fact that Elaine and I are downsizing and moving later this Spring. All told, we are taking a sabbatical from our golf outing this year. Your support of our activities and your unabashed willingness to lend your financial support leave me speechless and overwhelmed. Our seven outings have raised over $650,000 - every cent of which has gone directly to MJFF !!!
Thank you one and all.
Best,
Tom
